The NIHR Research Support Service Hubs, in collaboration with public members, have produced ‘What Makes a Great PPI Lead?’ a booklet providing a public contributor perspective on the skills and qualities valued in a PPI lead. This resource can offer a better understanding of public contributor expectations for research teams, research development staff, senior leaders and PPI staff themselves.

How do these expectations relate to the challenges of PPI work depicted in the cartoons (resource 1) and discussed in the report (resource 2)?

Can we use this booklet and the cartoons together to help us identify what needs to change in PPI work?
